Cancer Screening Updates
This session provides updated guidance on cancer screening practices in the Champlain region. IBIS Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool
A free online clinical tool to estimate a patient's 10-year and lifetime breast cancer risk.
The IBIS (Tyrer-Cuzick) model incorporates factors such as family history and breast density to identify patients at average, intermediate, or high risk. This supports screening decisions and preventive care planning.
Champlain Screening Outreach
Superscreener Nurse Practitioner Program for cancer screening services.
Champlain Screening Outreach connects eligible individuals to cancer screening services, particularly those without access to a primary care provider. The Superscreener NP provides screening services, education, and outreach to improve early detection and equitable access to care across the region.

Cybersecurity Training — Ontario Health
Delivered by: Ontario Health Digital Health Team
Description: Ontario Health's cybersecurity training program provides online modules, assessments, and monthly phishing simulations to help health care organizations strengthen privacy and security practices. Participants receive a completion certificate, and the training is available in English and French.
The program supports primary care, long-term care, mental health, community services, and other sectors.
MHASUH Navigation eReferral Workshop for Primary Care
Delivered by: OWFR OHT in partnership with Eastern Ontario eReferral, AccessMHA, and 1Call1Click
Description: In January 2023, our OHT hosted primary care workshops to review the referral process for patients to access MHASUH services via our regional coordinated access models (AccessMHA and 1Call1Click).

Description: Our OHT partnered with an Ontario Health-certified cybersecurity vendor, iSecurity, to offer roles-based cybersecurity training sessions in 2023.
Session recordings and certification quiz are available online to our OHT primary care and community partners.
93% felt this training was an effective use of time (agreed or strongly agreed). 82% felt better equipped to deal with privacy breaches or cybersecurity concerns following this training (agreed or strongly agreed).
